Here, nobody attacks you

That is the main promise of this mode, and it holds everywhere. No player can hit you, kill you, or take your things by force. Not on the world map, not at spawn, not in the resource worlds, not in the Nether, not in the End.

So you can head out with your best gear without wondering who is following you.

What about your things?

You do not lose your inventory when you die. Not your money, not your level, not your jobs, not your keys. A monster can kill you, but it costs you nothing more than the walk back.

Protected only if you claim it

That is the only real protection to know about. Land you have claimed belongs to your town: nobody else can place or break a block there, or open your chests.

The protection runs from the bottom of the world up to the sky, across the whole square. So nobody can dig under your base to get in from below.

There is one exception, and it comes from you: the people you invite into your town. The Leader and the Officer can open your chests. The Member builds at your place but does not touch them. The Members and their roles page spells out who is allowed to do what.

As long as you have claimed nothing, you cannot build on the world map yourself either. So claiming your land is not optional, it is the first thing to do.

On Planet Earth, the scenery does not kill you

That is a quirk of this mode, and it is worth knowing before you build: on the main map, lava does not burn you, fire does not either, and you take no fall damage. You can jump off the top of your tower, it will do nothing to you.

At spawn, you are outright invincible.

Careful, this applies ONLY on Planet Earth and at spawn. In the three resource worlds, the Surface, the Nether and the End, lava burns and falls kill as normal.

What is still dangerous

• Monsters, at night and underground, everywhere except at spawn. The game is set to Hard.
• Hunger, everywhere.
• Lava and falls, but only in the three resource worlds.
• People who ask you for your items or your password. See the Talking to other players page.

What does not exist on this server

There is no combat zone, no bounty on your head, no kill leaderboard. If you are looking for combat between players, that happens on Survival PvP, another mode on the same server.
