Members and their roles

A town starts with 3 slots and can go up to 50 as it gains levels.

There are five roles, from the most powerful to the most limited:

  • Owner: they can do everything, including disbanding the town. There is only one, and they can hand over with /team setowner.
  • Officer: they run the town almost like the owner. They are the only other person who can open your chests and take money out of the bank, and they make claims, invite people, and change other people's roles. Only give it to somebody you really trust.
  • Member: they build and put money into the bank, but they do not open chests, do not take money out and do not touch the settings. That is the right default role.
  • Co-op: a friend passing through. They can build at your place without being part of the town. /team coopadd adds them, /team cooplist lists them, /team coopremove takes them out.
  • Visitor: they can do nothing but look.

/team role opens the detailed permission settings, and /team promote and /team demote move somebody up or down.

The rule of caution

An Officer can empty the town bank. That is normal, that is their job. The number one way to lose your things here is not theft, it is promoting somebody you barely know too fast.
