What is Raft?
Raft puts you on a few planks lashed together, alone in the middle of an ocean with no shore. There is no land to reach: whatever drifts within reach is all you will ever get.
The game is about salvaging what the current brings. Wood, chests and debris float past you constantly. Each catch grows the raft by a plank, then a room, then a floor.
The pace is slower than on the other modes, and that is deliberate. You conquer nothing: you hold on, repair, expand. The reward is not loot, it is a platform that has slowly come to look like a home.
