What manner of thing is Survival PvP?

Survival PvP is the mode of Minecraft nearest the game as first it was: an open world, no rule laid upon thee, and other players who share the selfsame map. Thou settest thy stronghold where thou wilt, and thou livest with what cometh of it.

What changeth all is that combat betwixt players is awake beyond the warded grounds. A stronghold ill-hidden is plundered; an alliance ill-chosen turneth upon thee. Guilds exist for that very cause: many together may hold a territory.

'Tis the mode for whosoever findeth lone survival too quiet. Nothing herein is writ beforehand: the commerce, the feuds and the borders are set down by the players themselves, game upon game.
