What manner of thing is the Raft?

The Raft setteth thee upon a raft of a few planks, alone amid an ocean without shore. There is no land to reach: what cometh within thy grasp is all thou shalt ever have.

The game is to gather what the current beareth to thee. Wood, chests and wreckage drift about thee without end. Every catch addeth a plank unto the raft, then a chamber, then a storey.

The pace is slower than upon the other modes, and so 'tis meant. Nothing here is conquered: thou holdest fast, thou mendest, thou enlargest. The reward is no plunder, but a platform that hath come at last to resemble a home.
