What manner of thing is Survival Earth?

Survival Earth setteth in place of Minecraft's chance-wrought map a likeness of the planet Earth at its measure. The continents, the lands and the oceans are there, each in its true place. Thou choosest where thou appearest as one chooseth where to dwell.
