Hyping Survival PvP

An open world 100,000 blocks by 100,000, where fighting is allowed everywhere. PvP means player versus player: here, anyone can attack you, anywhere. Except at spawn, the square you land on when you connect.

This guide answers your questions, open it any time with /aide. The starting path itself is the list of steps shown on the right of your screen. Pick a section from the contents, or head straight to Getting started.

Joining, and bringing a friend along

On computer, the server address is play.hyping.fr. There is no number to add. On phone, tablet or console, it is bedrock.hyping.fr, with port 19132.

The 4 rules that change everything

  • Fighting is on everywhere, except at spawn.
  • When you die you lose your gear, but never your money, your level, your jobs, your keys, or anything in your private chests.
  • Whatever drops, other people can pick up: get back there fast, on foot. The Combat page explains how to prepare for it.
  • No land protection. Your base can be found, emptied, and its blocks broken: nothing is protected here. Build far away, and keep what matters in your private chests.

Hide your base, build far from spawn, and never give out your coordinates.

Three words that come up all the time

Your jobs: five counters that climb on their own as you farm, mine, cut wood, hunt or fish. Your keys: they open the crates, those big boxes at spawn that hand out a random item. Your private chests: storage that follows you everywhere and that nobody can go through.

Getting back to the mode menu

/hub takes you back to the menu where you pick your game mode. You can also use your compass, the one you have had since your first connection: right click it on computer, press and hold on phone. Your things stay on Survival and you find them again when you come back.

Never typed a command on a server before? It is all explained here:

Worth knowing

  • The server follows recent Minecraft versions, and changes about every two years. Hard difficulty: you get hungry, and monsters come out at night.
  • It restarts every day at 5am. You are disconnected for a few minutes, then you come back. Nothing is lost: your base, your money and your chests are saved.
  • The texture pack is the small download the game offers when you arrive: it adds the pictures of the server's items. Accept it, otherwise you cannot see them.
  • Cheating is banned. /reglement
  • Something wrong? Type /discord. Over there you open a ticket, a private conversation with the server team. You need a Discord account, it is free.
  • The server team will never ask you for money.
