Playing in peace

Fighting is on everywhere, but nothing forces you to go looking for it. This page answers one question only: how to play here without spending your evenings fighting.

What you never lose

Even if someone kills you and empties your base, you keep your money, your level, your jobs, your keys and everything in your private chests. What you lose is the items you had on you and in your normal chests.

What nobody can take from you

Everything you put in your private chests stays yours, even if someone finds your base. You get one without paying anything. The Settling in page explains how to use it.

Build far away, and quietly

Open /rtp and head out at random. The further you are from spawn, the less you get found. Do not put your base out in the open, and keep what matters in your private chests.

What gives you away without you knowing

You cannot know who is coming, so work on what you control.

  • Give your coordinates to nobody, not even someone friendly
  • Do not settle near a public teleport point: players land there all day long
  • Bury or hide your entrance, and avoid big builds you can see from far away
  • Do not stand mining in the same spot for hours

Making money without ever fighting

  • /sell sells what you pick up, at any hour
  • Your five jobs climb while you play as usual
  • /quete gives you objectives you do on your own
  • /order: other players pay up front for resources
  • Fishing pays, and it fills your collections
  • Harvest events are won on quantity, not on fighting

Fighting does not come looking for you

The arenas and the fighting events are in a separate zone, which you enter on purpose with /warzone. Once the starting path is done, nothing forces you to go back.

The starting path does ask you twice, though

Two of its five steps go through fighting: visiting the Combat Zone, then winning a first fight. Those two pay 43,000$ and the 50 gems, out of the 50,000$ of the whole path. It is the only time the game asks this of you. Nothing forces you to finish: each step validates on its own.

But you do have to choose, because of the chat

The chat stays off until you reach the fifth step. If you leave the two fighting steps aside and stop there, you will never get the chat. So you have two honest paths: do the two fighting steps and keep everything, or type /skiptutoriel, which gives you the chat right away but wipes the whole path, including rewards you have not collected. If that worries you: those two steps take a few minutes, and plenty of players never set foot there again afterwards.

The evening it happens anyway

You will get killed one day, it happens to everyone. Here is exactly what happens.

  • Your gear drops to the ground, and whoever got you can pick it up
  • Everything else is untouched: your money, your level, your jobs, your keys and your private chests
  • To get back whatever is still lying there, you have to walk back: no command takes you to the spot, except /deathback, which is for ranks only and costs money
  • You start again with gear to rebuild, not from zero
