Trading face to face

This is the safe way to give or swap something with another player.

How to do it

/trade [username] sends a request. If they accept, a window opens with two sides: yours and theirs.

Each of you puts down what you are giving. Everyone sees everything. When both of you confirm, the trade happens in one go.

Why go through it

Because dropping items on the ground and hoping the other person picks them up is the best way to get robbed. With /trade, there is never a moment when your things are unprotected.

Refusing or cancelling

/tradeno refuses a request. /tradecancel cancels a trade in progress. /tradetoggle shuts requests off completely if someone is bothering you.

Sending money only

No need for a trade for that: /pay [username] [amount] does the job.
