Floating chests
Among the items that drift by, some are surrounded by flames. Those are the treasures, and they do not give one item but several at once.
The four kinds
When a treasure appears, the server draws its rarity:
- Common treasure, 55% of treasures, 3 batches at a time.
- Rare treasure, 33%, 3 batches.
- Epic treasure, 11%, 2 batches.
- Legendary treasure, 1%, 2 batches.
What you find in them
The common one mostly gives money, wood and coal. The rare one gives money, iron, gold and enchantment books.
The epic one starts to hurt: a 17% chance of landing on 50,000 $, as much again on ancient debris, 15% on an epic tool and 13% on a Fortune book.
The legendary one is the real jackpot: 18% for 200,000 $, 15% for elytra, 13% for a Legendary Key and 13% for a Spawner Key.
The amounts go up with your level
The money inside a common treasure follows your raft's level: around 2,000 $ at the very start, 5,000 $ towards level 5, 12,000 $ towards level 10. So treasures never become uninteresting.
The full inventory trap
If your inventory is full when you open a treasure, part of the loot drops at your feet. It is reserved for you, nobody else can take it, but it disappears after five minutes.
The red message tells you so. Make room and pick it all up straight away.
One treasure to start with
The very first treasure of your life is already floating next to your raft when it is created. It is a common one, and it is part of the 8 to 12 items placed around you.
