Getting started
You have just arrived. Here is the order to do things in, with nothing left to guess.
What is already in your bag
From your very first connection, the server gives you a full set of leather armour, a stone sword, 16 loaves of bread, a quick access compass, and 3 days of Premium rank. There is nothing to collect anywhere.
1. Create your raft
Type /radeau create. The server builds you a raft in the middle of the ocean and drops you on it. You can also join a friend's: they type /radeau invite followed by your username, and you accept with /radeau accept.
You can only have one raft at a time.
2. Take out your rod, it was given to you
When you arrive on a raft, you receive a Fishing rod. It never wears out, and it is your main tool.
Look around: between 8 and 12 items are already floating a few blocks away, including a first treasure. They are there for you. Aim, cast, reel in.
If you lose your rod, you get a new one when you join a raft, up to three times in your life. Since you can only have one raft at a time, that would mean leaving yours and coming back: do not count on it, keep your rod.
3. Follow the starting path
The server walks you through six steps, and each one pays. Other players' chat stays off until the end, so you are not drowned in it.
- Create or join a raft: 2,000 $
- Fish out a floating item: 3,000 $
- Sell a resource: 5,000 $ and 16 gold blocks
- Put a resource into
/value: 10,000 $ and 50 gems - Take your raft to level 2: 30,000 $
- Collect your daily reward: an Epic Key
All told: 50,000 $, 16 gold blocks, 50 gems and a crate key. No other early activity pays that much in so little time.
The item to deposit, you already have it
The item to deposit, you already have it: it is one of the small things you reel in while fishing, a Drift Branch or a Washed-up Log for example.
/value is a special chest: what you put in it does not earn you money, it gives your raft value, and it is that value which later lets you make it bigger. The My raft's value page covers it all.
If you want to skip the path
/skiptutoriel ends it immediately. You keep what you have already banked, but you lose the rewards for the steps you did not do, and there is no catching up. Out of the 50,000 $, the 16 gold blocks, the 50 gems and the Epic Key, you therefore keep only what you have already earned.
4. Your stone generator
Good news: your starting raft already has one. It is your source of stone and ore, on top of fishing.
To build a second, dig a trench three blocks long, pour a bucket of water at one end and a bucket of lava at the other. Stone forms in the middle, and it forms again every time you break it.
A bucket of water costs 75 $ at the /shop, a bucket of lava 90 $, both in the Utilities aisle.
