Making money

There is game money, the one with the dollar, and shop gems. This page is about the first one. /bal shows both.

Selling to the server: the basics

/sell opens the server shop, which buys your resources back. It is the simplest and the steadiest way to make money.

Here is exactly what you do, the first time:

  1. Type /sell. A big empty window opens, with Drop your resources written at the top.
  2. Take your items out of your bag and put them in, like in a chest.
  3. The window title changes on its own and shows the total in dollars.
  4. Close the window: the money is yours, and the chat lists every item sold.

If an item refuses to go in, it means it cannot be sold, and a red message tells you so.

/worth, with an item in hand, tells you what it is worth before you sell it.

Server prices are not fixed, they follow what players sell:

Selling to other players

/ah is the player market: you put an item up at the price you want. For free, you can have 2 items on sale for 24 hours. Premium goes up to 5 items and 48 hours, Premium+ to 15 items and 72 hours.

It is often far more profitable than /sell for anything rare.

Getting deliveries, or delivering to others

/order is there to place an order: you announce what you are looking for and the price you pay, and anybody can bring it to you. You can also accept somebody else's order and deliver it, to cash in.

The server auctions

/enchere offers items put up for auction by the server. You cannot create one yourself, only bid.

The other income

  • Treasures that drift by, which give money directly, up to 200,000 $ in one go. That amount stays rare, because it comes out of a legendary treasure, so 1% of treasures, and less than once in five.
  • Events, several times a day, pay per objective reached and not per ranking, so even without finishing first, you leave with money.
  • Quests give money and points.
  • Crates hold money prizes, up to 30 million in the Nautilus Crate.
  • Jobs pay while you play normally.

Between players

/pay sends money to somebody. /trade opens a face to face exchange, a safe one, where each of you sees what the other puts in before confirming.

A warning about /cf

/cf is a bet: you stake money against another player and the winner is drawn at random. It is not a way to make money, it is a way to lose it half the time.

At least the server takes nothing on the way: the winner pockets the whole stake.
