The block generator
This page is only available in French for now.Open the French version
It is the heart of Skyblock. Everything you build comes out of it.
How it works
When water and lava meet, a block appears. You mine it, it forms again, over and over.
The server swaps that block for something else now and then: coal, iron, and better and better as your island goes up in levels.
The tier follows your island level
Your generator has a tier, and that tier is exactly your island level, up to 25. Past that, it stops moving. /is generator shows the current tier and what it produces.
What shows up, and when
- Tiers 1 to 8: stone, coal and a little iron.
- Tier 9: copper arrives.
- Tier 10: gold arrives.
- Tier 12: redstone.
- Tier 13: lapis lazuli.
- Tier 14: diamond.
- Tier 15: Nether quartz.
- Tier 17: amethyst.
- Tier 19: emerald.
- Tier 20: ancient debris, enough to make netherite.
- Tier 25: the maximum.
The amounts go up too. A few real markers: at tier 1, you mostly get stone, with 5% coal and 1% iron. At tier 14, diamond shows up at 0.5%. At tier 25, it climbs to 2%, and ancient debris to 0.45%.
Getting your lava back
It is the classic accident: water touches your lava, and it turns into obsidian. It is not lost. Take an empty bucket and right click the obsidian: the lava comes back inside.
That works on your island, in your Nether and in your End.
Where to buy water and lava
At the /shop, Other aisle. The server shop only has three aisles: Blocks, Redstone and Other.
