Your odds in the crates

Crate by crate, what your real odds are of landing the jackpot, and what that changes about the way you spend your keys.

A crate draws a single prize at random.

If you only read one line, read this one: out of the seven crates that give real rewards, none goes above 19% on its best prize. Aim for the average contents, never the jackpot.

The eighth one, the Festive, is a case apart: it only holds keys, so its percentages climb much higher. It is not a loot crate, it is a key handout.

The four crates you buy:

• Nautilus Crate, 14 prizes: 19% of landing 30 million dollars, 2% of the Wings of the Abyss, an elytra that is not lost on death, and 1% of the Leviathan's Tooth, an unbreakable sword that is not lost either. It is the rarest prize on the server.
• Epic Crate, 14 prizes: five prizes share the top at 11% each, the Smart Shovel, the Magic Pitchfork, the Thunderstriker, the Spawner Booster and a pack of 16 Elevators. Right at the bottom, 1% of a Legendary Key.
• Legendary Crate, 15 prizes: 10% of 10 million dollars, and no prize above 11%.
• Spawner Crate, 28 spawners: from the sheep, at 10%, to the vindicator, at 0.25%.

The four free crates

• Vote Crate, 28 prizes: the most frequent is 50,000 $ at 7.9%, and the rarest a Nautilus Key at 0.1%.
• Playtime Crate, 28 prizes: the most frequent is 5,000 $ at 11.5%.
• End Crate, 18 prizes: 14% of 30 million dollars, and the armour pieces around 1%.
• Festive Crate, 10 prizes: it only gives keys. 32% Spawner Key, 18% Epic Key, 14% Legendary Key, and doubles beyond that.

One detail that counts: the Premium won in a crate lasts 7 days in the Epic and Legendary crates, and 3 days in the Vote and Playtime crates. It is never the shop rank.

The Flight Elixir gives 15 minutes of flight. It comes out of the Epic Crate at 10% and the Vote Crate at 2%.

In other words: a crate is not played for one specific prize. Aim for the average contents, not the jackpot.
