Premium and Gems
Gems are the store's currency. You earn them by playing, and you can also buy them. Everything you pay for on the server is paid with them. /boutique opens the store for ranks and gems.
What a rank actually is
A rank is a status attached to your account, bought once in the store with gems. You do not lose it when you die, and it cannot be resold. There are two to buy, Premium and Premium+, plus a third one that cannot be bought: Champion.
Champion is not for sale
It is the only rank you cannot pay for, it only lasts seven days, and it is the only one that leaves you the whole of your sales on the player market. You get it by finishing first in a leaderboard of the week.
And there are plenty of leaderboards
You do not need to be the best at everything. Every category in /classements has its winner of the week, and each one gets the Champion rank for seven days, plus gems. Whoever is top of the Best Players leaderboard, the one that sums up all the others, collects 25,000 gems on top.
What a rank changes, honestly
It gives you no gear and no starting money. But it saves time, and one of its perks really counts: teleporting leaves straight away instead of waiting five seconds. Do not get the wrong idea about what that changes: in the middle of a fight, teleporting is off for everyone, rank or no rank. What a Premium player gains is leaving before being hit, when they see someone coming. And no rank lets you fly: that does not exist on this mode, not with Premium and not with Premium+. No rank makes you stronger in a fight.
You can play perfectly well without
A rank never replaces actually playing. Your gear, your money, your level and your jobs are earned exactly the same way without paying a penny.

Earning gems without paying
Gems can be bought, but not only. You also earn them in the crates, at your player level tiers, and in the leaderboards of the week. /gems opens the store and /bal shows you what you have.

What a rank costs
The prices are shown in /boutique. They are always up to date there, and you see exactly what each rank contains before paying anything at all.
How long you keep it
It is not a subscription: you pay nothing every month. Your rank holds as long as the server stays on this Minecraft version. When the version changes, ranks go back to zero and you have to take it again if you still want it.
To place it: the server always runs on the latest Minecraft version. So you never need to install an old version to come and play.
